Sorair – Case Study – Outfly
Sorair

Scaling the future of site security — from robotics startup to AI-powered perimeter intelligence.

Sorair was born at the intersection of AI, robotics, and physical security. When we first met them, they were transitioning from R&D to commercial deployment of Soranet™, their autonomous surveillance platform. The technology was remarkable — but the brand and messaging didn’t yet match its potential. Our goal was to help Sorair translate complex innovation into clarity, credibility, and commercial traction.

We began by refining Sorair’s story for investors — shaping the early decks, pitch strategy, and brand tone to help secure pre-seed funding. Once the company raised over £1.1 million, we evolved the brand into a more technical, scalable proposition. This included a new visual identity, a full website overhaul, tone of voice and SEO strategy, and sales content designed to convert enterprise clients. As Sorair’s credibility grew, we developed bespoke video campaigns to show the system in action — real drones, real ports, real impact.

The refreshed brand, messaging, and media positioned Sorair as a leading innovator in autonomous site security — bridging the gap between AI and real-world operations. Since launch, they’ve secured high-profile pilots with DP World and Westcott Venture Park, expanded to larger facilities, and continued to raise investment with backing from Haatch, Pi Labs, and the European Space Agency. Today, Sorair’s brand reflects the ambition, credibility, and intelligence of its technology.

“It’s been a great journey with Outfly. From our first deck to our latest campaign, they’ve helped us refine the way we talk about what we do — and how we show it to the world. The brand now represents the scale of our ambitions.”

Sorair Sorair is redefining how industrial sites are secured. By combining robotics, sensors, and computer vision, their proprietary platform Soranet™ enables organisations to automate 24/7 surveillance, reduce labour costs, and eliminate blind spots across large, complex environments like ports, logistics hubs, and warehouses. Outfly was first engaged to help Sorair move from concept to commercial credibility. At the time, the startup was pre-revenue and focused on R&D. The first step was to create an investor-ready identity — refining the value proposition, messaging, and visual materials to secure early backing. Within months, Sorair successfully raised over £1.1 million, paving the way for its first commercial pilots and full-scale brand development. Our long-term collaboration evolved as Sorair grew. After the initial investment raise, we partnered again to redefine their market positioning, elevate their digital presence, and develop a robust tone of voice that could flex across audiences — from investors to corporate clients. We rebuilt the website architecture and copy to reflect their complex product ecosystem — including modules like the AI LookOut Engine, AV Engine, Wasp, and Foresight AI — while ensuring the language stayed accessible and commercially focused. Alongside, we implemented a full SEO and content plan to drive qualified leads through organic search . The collaboration extended beyond digital to storytelling. We scripted and produced multiple on-site video shoots at DP World London Gateway and Westcott Venture Park, capturing the technology in operation — drones launching, AI detecting, systems responding — and blending film with 3D animation to explain the full Sorair ecosystem. These assets became the foundation for Sorair’s 2025 marketing strategy, helping to secure new pilots, partnerships, and media coverage. In parallel, we supported the creation of Sorair’s Sales & Marketing Strategy for 2025, outlining new campaigns, PR partnerships, and product KPIs — from area under Soranet surveillance to false alarm savings — ensuring every communication aligned with measurable growth . Today, Sorair continues to scale, launching full commercial deployments, pursuing BVLOS certification, and expanding into secure logistics and infrastructure monitoring. What began as an early-stage brand sprint has become a long-term strategic partnership — one that evolves with every flight.
